I too would like to see some data. There must have been something written about the level of protection provided by synthetic jackets. The only article I have found is in the April 1996 issue of Cycle World (p.78), which is not terribly useful. They simply claim that cordura "stands up remarkably well to abrasion". Does anyone know of any useful articles?
